FOSS in India

Creating valuable connections within the dairy industry

FOSS

In 2013 a representative from Innovation Centre Denmark (ICDK) New Delhi took part in a networking meeting within the dairy industry in India. As part of the visit a memorandum of understanding was signed between University of Copenhagen (UCPH), Department of Food Science in Denmark and the National Dairy Research Institute in India.

The right partners

"We wanted to explore the potential for collaboration within the area of dairy technology and food ingredients. The Innovation Centre inspired us to go to India and meet with relevant partners and this has led to new possibilities for joint research and student exchange. In addition, the signed agreement between the universities will, among others, be used to initiate direct collaboration between the two universities and FOSS in India", says Bjarke Bak Christensen, Food Science, UCPH.

Access to new knowledge and research

The new connection between the research institutions and FOSS in India makes it possible for the partners to establish long-term contracts and internships.
