International Forum for Trilateral Cooperation 2017 in Seoul

Tuesday 18th April, the Danish ambassador to Korea Thomas Lehmann participated in the International Forum for Trilateral Cooperation 2017, which is a forum aiming at increasing cooperation between South Korea, Japan and China.
Along with the president of National Youth Policy institute Roh Hyouk (South Korea), Professor Emeritus of Okayama University Araki Masaru (Japan), and the Dean of the School of International Business, Beijing Foreign Studies University Niu Huayong (China). At the afternoon session "Towards the promising future - practices of the trilateral youth empowerment", the ambassador addressed some of the youth-related issues shared by Scandinavian- and Northeast Asian countries. Especially contemporary issues related to youth-poverty and the anticipated challenges related to industry 4.0 were on the agenda.
The venue saw 300 participants and was well received.
