The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has opened a call for applications for research grants related to research collaboration projects with partners in growth and transition countries, including Brazil and China. Research themes for cooperation with Brazil are 'Digital governance' and 'Health information technology'. For China, the themes are 'Water scarcity', 'Animal manure as fertilize' and 'Maritime and shipping'. Proposals for the so-called 'Window 2' opportunities should be submitted for the prequalification rounds before March 3, 2017.
All potential applicants are invited to attend information meetings at which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Consultative Research Committee for Development Research (FFU), and the Danida Fellowship Centre (DFC) will provide information about the requirements and procedures for the phase 1 and phase 2 applications.
The meetings will be held in Copenhagen on the 15th December 2016, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in Aarhus on the 19th December 2016, at Aarhus University. Deadline for registration is on the 12th December.
